eBook is an electronic of printed books which is able to read on a hand-held devices and personal computer or laptop. There are the advantages and disadvantages of eBook and this some comments from eBook users: It would be great if we can share the eBooks with family or relatives and friends but sometimes it's in different format so it will encourage us to buy another devices (Jane, 2010). The other user, Matthew Humphries (2010) said that when he highlight some sections, it will sent back to Amazon server and it will be combined with other user's information to find out the most popular passages in different eBooks. However, Amazon will not share those information that was highlighted, they keep it as personal purposes.
eBooks will be use for all kind of ages like kids, teenagers, young adults, and adults.
The advantages of eBook compared with printed books:
· eBook may consist of millions kind of books, it depends on the memory
· Printed books need a space of room to put
· Many different languages are available
· Even though eBook device is more expensive than one book but it is still cheaper because it may download millions free books
· eBook may back up the file from losses or damages
· Environmental concern (the use of papers and ink may cause global warming)
The disadvantages of eBook:
· Not all kind of books available
· The formats or types are changing over the time because of the technology improvement
· Environmental concern (the device has some toxics in production, and disposal batteries)
